Mario Russo started the Mario Mfg. Co., in 1922 in New York. The company relocated to Roanoke, Virginia in 1988 and became a self-contained manufacturer, producing most of its components, including, but not limited to ceramic production, woodworking, permastone, and a comprehensive lamp shade program. Leather Origins is a wholesaler of quality European leathers used  for all types of commercial seating or as decorative leather for vertical surfaces.  The vast majority of our first-class rawhides are from the Alpine region and the Central European area - an area renowned for its long tradition of livestock breeding.

Selections include a wide variety of IN-STOCK leather qualities from an environmentally friendly and award winning tannery. The range of leathers includes classic colors, leather with accentuated pebble grain or embossed and marine leather. There are 125 colors permanently in stock with thickness ranging between .9 – 3.0 mm that can be ordered in whole hides or die cut parts. We at Leather Origins offer a variety of aniline, semi-aniline finishes, natural grain and embossed hides. Most leathers include water and stain resistant protective finishes.  Special colors are available on request.
